Details

Each vessel is shaped from a single block of sandstone, its walls built of thick, uneven layers in cream, ochre and rust. The split edges stay raw while the interiors are lightly smoothed. Made by hand to order, they sit together on a table or shelf like finds from a quiet excavation.
