What we collect and why

When you send an order request or a bespoke enquiry, we process the data you give us: name, email, phone, company and VAT number, delivery address, your message and any files. We use them to answer your request, prepare an offer and a proforma invoice, perform the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), keep accounting records (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR) and protect our legal claims (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Storage

Requests that do not lead to an order are deleted after 24 months. Data related to contracts and invoices are kept for the periods required by tax and accounting law (generally 5 years after the end of the year).

Recipients

Our hosting and email provider (Hostinger), carriers delivering your order, our accounting office and, where required, public authorities. We do not sell your data.

Cookies and storage

The store does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your order is kept in your browser's local storage until you send it or clear it. Language preference is stored the same way.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, to data portability, and to object. Write to aleks@artisanaleks.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, Poland) or the supervisory authority in your country.
