Details

Angular planes of volcanic basalt form the base and arms, their surface scattered with vesicles of varied sizes. Upholstery in charcoal grey wool softens the geometry, and the stone is cut and the frame assembled by hand to order. It anchors a room with the stillness of a lava field cooled to rest.
